Yanqing Baili Landscape Gallery is a 4A scenic spot located in Qianjiadian town, which covers an area of 371 square kilometers. It includes twelve space nodes of three zones in one ring. The scenic zone has favorable ecological environment and abundant tourist resources, which includes numerous geological and cultural landscapes like petrified woods, Wu Long Gorge, Drop Canteen and Chaoyang Temple, etc. In 2010, Yanqing Baili Landscape Gallery became the first national 4A level scenic spot which covers the whole town and realized the “integration of the county and landscape”.
Wu Long Gorge

The Wu Long Gorge is located in the region of Yanqing Baili Landscape Gallery, the overall length of which is 2 kilometers. It is the typical geomorphologic landscape of river between mountains deeply incising the valley. Both sides of the valley tower steep and abrupt cliffs. Fantastic rock peaks, blowing spray of rivers, green mountain tranquil valley and deep pond of fresh water all contribute to the fame of Wu Long Gorge.
Drop Canteen

The Drop Canteen is located in the region of Yanqing Baili Landscape Gallery. In the midsummer, the sound of water growls like flowing gold; in the winter, water drops freeze into ice which looks like silver flowers on the tree. The mysterious caves, magnificent bead-curtain shaped waterfalls and rain-like spray constitute a typical Karst landscape in north Beijing.
National Geological Park of Petrified Woods

The National Geological Park of Petrified Woods is also located in the region of Yanqing Baili Landscape Gallery, which covers an area of 226 square kilometers. It is China’s first comprehensive national geological park with the typical, rare and precious petrified woods as the main landscape scenery that proves to be an integrated park of tourist sightseeing, leisure and science investigation. Inside the park, there are numerous geological wonders, including the largest petrified woods buried in situ of North China, red stone cove dome bunched on the magma, six anticlines with fold structures, book-sward liked monocline which tilts like a book or a sward, and the dinosaur footprint fossil which formed in hundreds of millions of years ago, etc.
